About Us

Concern for the welfare of cats, dogs and other companion animals brought Rosemary Shelton and Diane Calkins together over 10 years ago and has been a constant throughout their personal and professional relationship.

The two met at an animal control shelter, where both were volunteering in the adoption program. There they discovered another shared passion - photography. Melding the two, they founded Click the Photo Connection in 1989. A stock photography agency, Click specializes in animal and other natural images.

The agency has in its files thousands of photographs and the photo files are constantly updated. Despite the demands of the stock agency, Rosemary and Diane have continued their volunteer work. One of their proudest accomplishments is the creation of SNAP, Spay/Neuter Action Project, of which they were founding board members. Not surprisingly, Click has an extensive collection of shelter and homeless animal photographs.

Through the years, Click has added the work of other selected photographers who have helped to diversify subjects to include people, the western United States and travel destinations.

Residents of San Diego County, both share their homes with husbands and an array of formerly homeless animals.
